New years Eve 2025 saw some wild action in the Clown Community. Australian snake seducer Will Vidler (Viddlesticks) throws down a last minute 700ms that pushed him well into the first place position and over 7kms for the year, leapfrogging the hopeful Hayden Jamieson (HDizz) who thought he was in the clear.

Diesel rides a quick mixed conditions lap on one of Snowshed’s Auto Belays to bring in the New Year and that 3k certification.

SnowShed - A Midwinter’s Dream?

New Years Eve saw a foaming Megan Ogden (Diesel) post-holed out to Truckee’s only known crag- SnowShed Free Snake Emporium- to ride one final lap through arctic conditions, collecting her the last 15ms needed to push into the 3Km Snake Charmer Club. She is the only person to finish in the bracket by the year's end.

Tommy Spence’s Rapid Rise

Aussie Tommy Spence (Oldmate) leadboard status showed us he’s a true Froth Dog. Joining only in the final months, but in short order rose  to a 4th position and earned a 5k Hairstylist bracket title. Proof of what is possible without chronic marijuana induced amnesia and some tactful backlogging. 

2025 Stickers are Available

TDC stickers are in for the year. They are awarded based on meters top roped over the course of 2025 so dig deep in the cloudy pit that is your brain and recall those endless moments suspended by the nylon skyline.
